Campaign on indefinite hiatus
This campaign is now on indefinite hold.
I want to thank all of the players current and past for playing. It's been a pleasure gaming with you.
I have made an offer to help Jeff (or others) with FGII and DM assistance even if I can't join you for actual play. I can make it possible for someone to have admin access to this forum and moderate a new campaign site.
Good Gaming!

Early memorable moments
I've been looking over the notes and have enjoyed reading through the adventures.
Some of the key turning points were by mere chance. Take the saga of Szigfel the gnome and the golden bowl from the first adventure. When the player playing Szigfel didn't return after one session, I decided to have the PC disappear with the golden bowl the party had found. Finding this thief became a minor hook for where to go next. It was ironic when a later newcomer wanted to play a gnomish thief (Fonzig). The party dynamic was quite fun.
The climactic scene in which the party killed Gritznak the gnoll was particularly memorable because Cadfan almost got sacrificed on Gritznak's altar. It was one of those early sessions in which Cadfan almost seem to die every other session. It was very good theatre.

Re: Campaign on indefinite hiatus
If I recall half of the party was dieing every session when we were in that cursed Gnome dungeon deep under Cauldron. Good thing we signed up for the Party Plan at the local sisters of mercy.

While I'm bummed that I missed the last session, I'm glad I was able to participate
